Matching UFO³ with IoT technology, has brought to life UFO Cloud, a pioneering access control system that features four log-in levels and different permissions.
UFO Cloud allows you to open the vehicle loading area, manage and set UFO via Bluetooth, with a smartphone, using an App or Web App. An ideal solution for either a single van owner or a large fleet requiring associate opening permissions, sending virtual keys and setting key validity periods.
UFO Cloud works within Meroni Technology, an integrated system where multiple smart locks are managed via an App; not only controlling the access of your van loading area, but that of a house gate, front door or a locker in your office, and much more.
The smartphone is the virtual key
The UFO CLOUD range is a combination of UFO cloud-box (the intelligent control centre), UFO FLEET and the mechanical lock UFO³.
By using this system to manage the openings you obtain a series of benefits, which are not limited to the convenience of opening the loading area by pressing the icon on your smartphone.
One advantage is access control: the manager of the fleet can generate a virtual key and send it via text or email to a user who can then have access to a specific van, at some pre-established times or on certain days. Every opening of the loading area is tracked and assigned a specific user/virtual key combination.

UFO CLOUD, acting on the central locking system, allows access to the van loading area only to the users who have a registered virtual key within the APP.
With the mobile APP, an authorised driver can do the delivery rounds of consumables or spare parts, by opening the doors independently and loading the tools or goods essential to the day-to-day fleet activity.
